One of the leading US-based IT peripherals vendor that focuses on producing USB / FireWire hubs and cables, Bluetooth accessories, replacement power cords and bricks, locking mechanisms, keyboards and mice, portable hard disk drives, optical drives and memory card readers, cooling enclosures.

is now seeking a Business Development Manager, APAC to join their product marketing team in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate and execute products strategies for the relevant channel in the region;
  • Conduct market, competitor and customer analysis and assessments and report and communicate this effectively;
  • Translate market requirements into a product roadmap that is constantly maintained to reflect changes and developments in product or market;
  • Lead financial planning and forecasting for the responsible categories;
  • Drive sales and marketing teams to achieve products sales & market shares targets;
  • Manage the product life cycle from launch to end of life, including pricing, promotions, product updates and improvements;
  • Develop and deliver training on market and products to internal teams or customers;
  • Prioritize projects according to timeline and impacts;
  • Manage cost / price / margin in the pricing and marketing process;
  • Plan and execute the products roadmap and launching schedules for the regions;
  • Allocate resources and schedule production / delivery schedules according to the overall product & marketing strategies;
  • Participate in product design and innovation forums to explore new concepts and develop new products
  • Requirements

  • University graduate from Computer / Electronics Engineering or equivalent;
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience with respected MNC brand company with solid product and brand management methodology;
  • Ability to develop and maintain product roadmaps that are relevant to multiple markets and customers;
  • Product management experience in enterprise solutions like server, software, system integration, services domain preferred;
  • Experience in providing solutions to BFSI / Public sector / SMB / education an advantage;
  • Ability to work independently and to cope with a fast changing environment;
  • Knowledge in projects management and products development including product design, sampling, packaging, mass production and product launching an advantage;
  • Self-motivated, analytical, tactful with excellent problem solving skills;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese language;
  • Strong presentation and hands-on experience in MS office
