Responsibilities :

  • Lead the Risk Program execution team, including programs covering operational risk, compliance, financial crimes and conduct.
  • Work with program leaders in the US to design engagement and responsibility models for end to end coverage of programs.
  • Ensure local regulatory requirements are addressed either in global programs or in local incremental programs.
  • Facilitate risk and gap identification and remediation through appropriate due diligence and risk assessments
  • Acting as the lead for relevant projects, remediation activities and legal entity changes.
  • Supporting Lines of Business and enterprise functions with the execution of programs either centrally in the region or within each function to ensure compliance with Corporate policies and local requirements.
  • Market Skills and Certifications

  • 10+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, business process management) or 10+ years of financial services industry experience, of which 5+ years must include direct experience in risk management;
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.

    Strong understanding of risk management regulatory landscape across the Asia Pacific region is required

    Deep knowledge of internal control and risk management with strong understanding of business operations

    Ability to think strategically, build credibility and influence key stakeholders

    Experience in change management and project management

    Ability to lead, influence, motivate others to enforce accountability to drive results

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and proven ability to effectively interact with senior management

    Ability to prioritise efforts / actions to add the greatest value and impact

    Advanced computer skills (MS Office : Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
