As Category Manager, you are responsible for defining and driving our product assortment and taking full responsibilities for certain product categories for the US market.
A newly created role to support their Hong Kong office.
Responsibilities of the role :
To analyze competition, sales trends, product trends and consumer demand based on the existing product range;
To develop and implement pricing strategies for our product assortment in the US market;
To analyze the relevant KPIs to ensure stock availability and drive action measures for reorder and replenishment;
To screen online marketplaces, attend trade shows and work with existing suppliers to identify opportunities and develop market specific products;
To liaise with marketing and external service providers to drive advertising campaigns and promotional plans for the US market;
To be accountable for sales and profitability of specific product category
To monitor and analyze US market specifics;
To work closely with cross-function team including merchandising, supply chain management, logistics, quality management to executive the category’s strategies throughout the organization.
Requirements of the candidate :
A degree in business studies, supply chain management or related
At least 5 years of professional experience category management, purchasing and logistics, ideally in E-commerce environment
Experience in North American Market
Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin would be a bonus
Proficiency in different software tools (i.e. ERP, MS office, project tools or comparable planning systems)
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Can communicate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
Result oriented and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Must have experience in household and kitchen products
