Job Description

As a Warehouse Management Specialist for Rolls-Royce, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, including inventory records up keeping and manage incoming & outgoing stock of parts and equipment.

Key Accountabilities主要职责

  • Ensure that all Safe Work Procedures are adhered at all times. In charge of warehouse management to keep accurate data between physical stock & SAP.
  • In charge of goods receiving, issue with any procedure to make any transaction accurately. In charge of inventory management and strictly follow the FIFO rules.

    Supervise 3PL service; assess their performance, capability and training requirements to build up the team capacity

  • To ensure regular inspections are carried out on all material handling equipment’s the warehouse operational areas and documents are maintained as per SOP.
  • Responsible for management of quality issues and resolutions as per standard operating procedures or defined standards. Check quantity of goods received against delivery documents, identify parts numbers, store of spare parts in correct bins.

    Conduct quality control checks on picked items to ensure correctness of ordered goods. Ensure that goods are preserved and packed sufficiently well

  • Properly label and pack ordered parts for easy identification of items for shipment. Ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods and ensure all key performance indicators are achieved.
  • Arrange periodic running stock checking. Arrange physical stocktaking of stock annually

  • To manage and implement smooth warehouse operations incoming and outgoing system through computerized administration and retrieval systems (ERP system).
  • Responsible to ensure all billing and costing is completed within the specified dates. Be the team lead for all SAP related issues, training, problem resolution and improvements.

    Provide on the job training of new staff on the warehouse activities. Responsible for management, monitoring and replenishment of packing material and ensure availability at all times.

    Liase with both internal and external customers on the operational requirements of the warehouse.

  • Key Experiences and any Qualifications职位主要经验和技能要求

  • College graduate or above, or of equivalent qualifications
  • At least 5 years relevant working experiences. Have min. 2 years in managerial or supervisory position
  • Familiar with inventory and warehouse management, understand preservation requirement of stock
  • Familiar with ERP and / or comparable computer software applications required for the job function
  • Good command of both spoken & written English, good at office software
  • Good communication and management skills
