Job Description

The Business Valuation Team within Colliers International (Hong Kong) Limited is looking for a talented and experienced valuation professional to join our fast-growing practice. The position is based in Hong Kong with engagements across Asia. We work in a very collaborated team environment with superb management support and autonomy. Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall client engagement process including designing the engagement scope, overseeing the valuation analysis, ensuring timely delivery of the projects, and managing the risk associated with the engagements.
  • Perform business and intangible asset valuations for various purposes including mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, public listing, and bank financing.
  • Design/update financial models for financial instruments and perform valuations on options, convertible bonds, preferred shares, financial guarantees, etc.
  • Perform valuation/validation on private equity fund investments
  • Build, maintain and enhance client relationships.
  • Provide managerial and technical support to fellow team members.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

  • Master’s in finance/Accounting or MBA degree in a reputable college/university, CFA and/or CPA is a plus.
  • Minimum five years of valuation experience in first-tier financial consulting or accounting firms.
  • Experienced with valuations related to financial reporting requirements such as impairment testing, purchase price allocation, employee option pricing, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong technical and financial modeling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple engagements and manage/meet client expectations.
