Retail Banking Sales Management Manager

Retail Distribution Distribution Managem

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers.

With more than 290 branches and automated banking centres, including around 60 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber to join our department as Retail Banking Sales Management Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement retail banking product sales strategies and achieve mapping Area’s desired business results
  • Support mapping branches to acquire new customer base and grow retail lending portfolio
  • Monitor non-regulated product sales activities and productivity metrics to ensure delivery is in accordance with sales pipeline in the Area
  • Identify capability gap of sales staff and formulate development or enhancement plan for the Area
  • Organize sharing sessions with sales staff on market best practices to enhance product knowledge and professional capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal compliance and quality assurance units on sales quality of branch staff and take remedial measures to ensure strict adherence to the compliance standards
  • Requirements

  • University degree in Business or related fields
  • At least 8 years solid experience in retail banking as well as exposure to frontline sales an advantage
  • Possess insurance intermediaries qualifying examinations and fulfillment of competency requirements to carry out regulated activities
  • Self-motivated with strong sales and customer orientation
  • Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Strong drive to succeed and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese with sound knowledge of application software
  • Great sense of ownership and high level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
