Job Description

and Requirements The successful candidate will be part of the Regulatory & Governance team in Clearing Risk Management Department with focus on clearing risk regulatory initiatives and clearing risk governance matters for HKEX clearing houses in Hong Kong.

  • Develop risk policy recommendations supported by analysis, research and benchmarking against market best practices as well as regulatory developments ·Formulate and draft proposals, policies, rules and procedures as necessary as a result of new business, regulatory and / or risk management initiatives ·Lead and manage clearing risk management and regulatory initiatives including planning, monitoring, coordinating of relevant project tasks as well as liaison with relevant internal and external stakeholders ·Provide executive support to the risk meetings / forums in ensuring proper governance are conducted in an effective and compliant manner ·Undertake departmental ad-hoc assignments as required Job Requirements ·University Degree, preferably in Risk Management / Finance / Economics or related with at least 10 years of working experience in banks or financial institutions ·Holder of relevant professional qualification is an advantage, preferably FRM or CFA ·Knowledge of and experience with international regulatory standards that concern central clearing and CCPs is an advantage (e.
  • g., Financial Stability Board, CPMI and IOSCO, Basel Committee on Banking Supervision or related regulations) ·Demonstrate ability to partner effectively across different businesses and functional areas ·Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with a strong sense of responsibility ·Excellent communication, strong project management, presentation and organizational skills ·Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage ·Strong MS Word / Presentation / Excel
