This role will act as a member of Finance Reporting team to support the regular financial closing and reporting and ensure proper financial records are maintained and proper controls are taken in place.
Deliver financial reports on a timely manner and in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and Group reporting requirements.
Prepare regular financial closing and reporting on timely and accurate manner and in accordance with the relevant accounting standards and Group reporting requirements.
Prepare the Sub Ledger & GL month end reconciliation to ensure all the transactions and accounting records are properly monitored and reconciled on timely basis.
Support in IFRS17 implementation project.
Support ad-hoc reporting as assigned.
University degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of working experience
Student member of professional accounting bodies is a plus
Experience in Life Insurance business is a plus
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficient in MS office and high proficiency in MS Excel
Knowledge in SUN Accounts
Knowledge in Power BI and SAS is a plus
Knowledge of the insurance business is a plus
Good communication skill to work effectively across teams / departments
Good Business writing
Ability to multi-task and be flexible in adapting to changing priorities and to work independently
Strong technical knowledge in controls and processes
