Support superior in managing day-to-day operational tasks in order to be able to respond timely to internal and external stakeholders
Support the execution of Business Unit-country / channel / product expansion strategies to achieve short- and long-term business objectives
Conduct both desk and field research / feasibility studies / market scan to gain a better understanding of the latest market opportunities / trends
Provide basic analysis and meaningful conclusions to research / feasibility studies / market scan to gain better understanding of the latest market opportunities / trends
Coordinate meetings and prepare materials to facilitate negotiations with potential clients / customers. Support contract review process.
Execute improvement initiatives to Business Development processes and ways of working to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy
Work with internal stakeholders to cross-verify research findings / analysis and ensure smooth execution of deal negotiations and finalization of contracts
Update and maintain internal reports and databases
Minimum two years’ experience in a similar industry, especially in market research, sales, marketing, business development related work, etc.
Degree in Business Studies / Marketing preferred
Other qualifications related to the technical know-how work area (e.g. engineering, chemical, medical devices, etc.) will be considered
Proven proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in cross-country / -cultural interactions
Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Demonstrate business development experience in applying business development principles for at least medium- to large-sized companies in similar industries
Demonstrate analytical skills
Demonstrate skills in market research and audit
Proven client and customer account management skills
Works comfortably with concepts and complexity
Is hands-on and acts with common sense
