Mission Générale

The Commercial Executive assists the Area Managers in its various missions through the area and channels : Hermès Stores, Local Market, Travel Retail & Hotels.

The Commercial Executive position is key to assist the Area Managers to reach the budgetary targets (both Sell-Out / Sell-in), develop the business and ensure a retail excellence across all channels (from generic doors to personalized stores and Hermès stores).

Principales activités

Retail Excellence

Assist the Area Managers in building the Strategy and the Retail Plan per market with supporting teams. It includes :

  • Trade animations
  • POSM management : Testers, GWP, Sampling, etc.
  • Staff training
  • Incentives
  • Visual Merchandising : Visual changes, Planogram follow-up
  • Counter opening : Assistance on all operational aspects
  • Sales / Stocks / Deliveries Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze regularly Retail Sales, Stocks & Product Performance to help the Area Managers to optimize the assortments, maximize the sell-out and improve productivity
  • Assist the Area Managers in implementing corrective actions to boost the sell-out and manage inventory
  • Support the Area Managers by providing regular presentations (for HQ, Retailers, Distributors, Trade agents) on Sales performance, Retail Development, Trade Marketing Activities, Communication and Assortments Recommendation
  • Sales Administration and Operations

  • Assist the Area Managers on forecasts and regular follow-up on invoicing vs. Forecasts and Targets along with the Area Managers to meet budgetary targets
  • Follow up the monthly operational expenses
  • Ensure the proper listing of novelties among all operators database

  • Young professional with 1-2 years of experience in retail / brand / account management
  • Experience in Perfume and Cosmetics is preferred
  • University Grade (Bachelor degree)

    Approximately 240 employees currently work at the site.

    The establishment in Paris employs approximately 180 employees (including regional managers and the sales teams of the personalised spaces) : collection development, communication, international management and operational development, visual merchandising, merchandising, sales drive, international training, operations, e-commerce, finance, IT, HR, etc.

    Currently, approximately 100 employees work abroad, in : Hong Kong, Shanghai, Dubai, Miami, Toronto, Belgium, the Netherlands, Madrid and London.
