The appointee will be involved in research projects that investigate the basic biology of skeletal muscle regeneration and neuroscience.
He / She will assist in conducting research and general laboratory duties as assigned by the team leader as well as performing experiments including animal surgery, biochemical assays and histology.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in biology, biochemistry or related areas. Relevant work experience in biology or biochemistry laboratories, and knowledge of laboratory animal husbandry and adult stem cell biology will be an asset.
Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in molecular and cell biology techniques. (Duration : 1 year, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.
