The Associate Director, Digital is a talented digital operator with proven leadership skills and a track record of building strong relationships with clients.
In this role, they will build trusted relations with key client contacts, identify agency growth opportunities, work to evolve client digital strategies, and introduce innovation to accelerate and transform business.
In addition, the Associate Director, Digital will partner with a variety of colleagues across Edelman Hong Kong to deliver client programs that span multiple practices.
Finally, the Associate Director, Digital continually innovates and evaluates the practical application of emerging technology and social engagement trends while using Edelman’s distinct strengths as a PR firm to help us become the go-to agency for clients who want digital engagement programs that are strategic, relevant and executable.
Build trusted relationship with key client contacts
Identify opportunities for client organic growth using a combination of client familiarity, awareness of client’s objectives, and an understanding of the digital landscape
Partner with the Head of Digital / Integrated Solutions to :
Grow digital business profitably, based on customer needs and market insights
Evaluate, pursue and win new business opportunities.
Oversee and align operations to ensure we consistently deliver results that our clients value
Mentor a team of younger executives and help them thrive in their roles and be successful with their careers at Edelman
Consistently hold self and staff accountable for behavior and performance
Exceptional at building presentations for clients and new business opportunities
Contribute to business growth through introducing clients to new capabilities, building network of industry contacts and participating in relevant professional organizations
Partner with colleagues and teams across practices and sectors for the benefit of Edelman clients
Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals
Understand the vision of Edelman and the Digital group, and his / her own role in achieving it
Provide strategic counsel, guidance and leadership to staff, supervising several staff members, and ensuring the team's success by managing work quality and productivity levels
9-11 years of deep digital, social media, and content experience. Marketing and advertising background is a plus. Slightly less experienced candidates would be considered for Senior Manager, Digital or Assistant Director, Digital.
Account management experience with demonstrated capability in growing large client relationships.
A demonstrated track record of developing and executing digital transformation, social media, and paid performance campaigns and programs.
A forward thinker in the digital space that knows how to demonstrate the value of digital to our clients as well as internal stakeholders
Track record of developing and executing profitable campaigns that meet client objectives
Strong leadership qualities including superb people management skills.
Ability to attract, motivate, empower, coach and retain staff
Demonstrated staff management experience with strong leadership skills reflecting the ability to hire, motivate, develop, and lead
A strong track record in business development and a tireless desire to win
An understanding of the creative process and experience with creative concepting
An ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment
