About the role

You will lead dedicated Enterprise Account Management teams across Asia Pacific (APAC) region and focus on key strategies to maintain our existing customer base and increase growth opportunities.

In this newly created role, you will lead in a matrix environment and be responsible for developing key retention and growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans, as well as hiring, developing and leading a high-performing team to meet and exceed sales goals.

Your background in relationship and client management coupled with strong experience in leadership and team building will enable you to develop new strategies and lead change initiatives where appropriate to enhance our team’s capabilities regionally.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence Meltwater’s overall success and growth in APAC. The position will report directly to the Executive Director, Asia Pacific and can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.

What will you be doing?

Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow key enterprise accounts to support growth objectives of a fast-paced region within our business.

Lead a team of Enterprise Team leaders, Account Managers and Associates regionally

Support and drive proactive Account Planning and Delivery of existing accounts and upsell opportunities

Manage enterprise clients directly as well as support the team to grow their accounts

Drive, manage and execute revenue goals

Recruit, hire and onboard top talent onto your team

Partner with other customer-facing functions (Sales, Support, Professional Services, Customer Engineering) to develop strategies and execute plans that maximize growth, customer retention, and account expansion.

Leading by example -you will set the standard, demonstrate hard work and hold your team to account on similar standards.

We’re Looking For :

  • 10+ years of experience in account management
  • Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin (Cantonese highly regarded)
  • Background in SaaS or consulting, managing key accounts in Greater China and other Asian countries
  • At least 6 years experience leading successful sales teams
  • Strong business and operational sales aptitude with ability to learn and implement plans quickly
  • Ability to forecast accurately and provide timely updates to senior leadership on sales targets
  • A leader with a strong track record of success developing high performing teams who exceed growth targets
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset & willing to lead from the front
  • Proven experience leading change initiatives
  • Analytical and data oriented across a variety of sales & business metrics
  • Willingness to be based in Singapore or Hong Kong (relocation can be supported)
