Reports to : CMP Optimisation and System Delivery Manager
In the newly established Rave & Optimisation team at Cathay Pacific, we are working with leading optimisation technology to create productive rosters that also fit our crew members’ lifestyles.
Seated in the heart of Crew Resources we help ensure that the new systems we introduce are being properly utilised, we take an active part in the production of the crew members’ rosters and we are involved in longer term strategic improvement work.
In this team you will be surrounded by talented colleagues with varying backgrounds, including from other airlines and technology companies.
Our work adopts the Agile development practices and put great emphasis on teamwork. You will have the opportunity to learn about optimisation technologies as well as broaden your business knowledge in aviation.
As a Crew Optimisation and System Expert you will use Rave programming language to perform advanced optimisation modelling and scenario analysis with the Jeppesen Pairing and Rostering systems.
You will provide coaching and support to the Rave team on optimisation modelling and best practices. You will be encouraged to dream big and drive changes to the optimization tools and related business operations to deliver business outcomes and benefits.

Key responsibilities :
Providing coaching on crew optimization methods and concepts to Crew Resources and Raver teams.
