Within the Client Business group, we pride ourselves on creating, communicating, and delivering investment solutions for clients worldwide.
To that end, we have teams of professionals with expertise in the many functions to deliver a full range of asset management, risk management and advisory services relevant to clients’ investment needs through relationship management, marketing, sales, client service, and product development and management.
The Client Business group serves institutional and wealth clients, including pension plans, insurance companies, third-party mutual funds, endowments and foundations, charities, corporations, official institutions, banks, family offices, financial professionals, and individual investors.
Individual client businesses are accountable for client relationships and distribution of products and services and are supported by a centralized marketing function which ensures consistency globally.
The APAC Institutional COO team serves as the trusted advisor and partner in helping Institutional relationship managers run their business lines.
We are a multi-disciplinary team who enables our relationship managers drive business via our role as thought partners, facilitating sales enablement and intra-firm connectors.
Job Purpose / Background
The Business Manager is an Associate level role based in Hong Kong. The individual will work closely with the Head of APAC Institutional and partner teams to support growth of the APAC Institutional business and work with internal functions in driving regional and global projects and handling business management activities.
The successful incumbent will have these primary areas of responsibility :

Cross-regional client coverage
APAC information-sharing with global teams
Key Responsibilities :
Provide support and oversight of all operational, regulatory, compliance, and client service matters, including coordinating with relevant internal functional teams and external parties (where relevant), and talent management
Produce regular reporting and analysis and financial management for senior management
Work in partnership with APAC, EMEA and US teams to implement and coordinate change projects
Monitor operational excellence in business processes particularly in the distributor space
Support the COO team on a wide range of business and ad-hoc corporate requests from business and regions
Work closely with partner teams on execution of cross-functional projects and initiatives in FIG, OIG, and Other Institutional segments
Ensure consistent delivery of collateral, content, and training to optimize sales focus
The Ideal Candidate :
Strong analytical ability able to grasp concepts quickly, analyze relevant information and problem solve
Confident and highly motivated with an ability to balance multiple tasks under pressure
Excellent communication / presentation skills, both written and verbal, in a multi-level team environment
Strong execution results-focused, prioritizes key tasks, keen attention to detail
A collaborative team player, able to work with people of all levels
At least 3 years’ experience in financial services preferred
Asian language an advantage
