Accountable for payroll management / payment / reporting in system (Lawson) and annual salary tax filing of APAC offices
Handle all payroll related statutory filings e.g. IR56G, IR56A and IR56B, staff quarter, and retirement benefit contributions (e.g. MPF, CPF)
Ensure timely payroll and statutory payment, and record accurately in system
Updates employee records in payroll system
Participate in month end closing of APAC offices specific to payroll and related benefits, including journal entries posting and accounts reconciliation
Prepare payroll-related analysis reports for management review
Ensure compliance with company’s policies and any statutory requirements on payroll-related matters
Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding payroll and retirement contributions (e.g. MPF)
Responsible for audit on payroll and related matters
Lead on payroll-related initiatives for APAC offices
Bachelor’s degree holder in business related discipline
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Detail-oriented and able to work under tight deadlines
Experience in handling payroll
Able to keep information confidential
Able to work independently and multitasks
Willing to learn
Proven problem-solving skills when faced with unique and new challenges
Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
Good command of Chinese and English
