Job Description & Summary

A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients.

Our Information Technology Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.

The team is a mix of technical and business professionals and expects everyone involved to fix problems and address challenges of every kind.

You will work closely with Business analysts, Tech Leads, and internal subject matter specialists for software development, UAT, SIT and product launch.

As the Back-end developer, you’ll create value-added solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities would include the following :

Assist the Project manager in solution design and implementation

Delivery high-quality code at all time

Write relevant technical documents and have the ability to improve specification and process

Continuously evaluate and optimize project deliverable

Actively research on new technologies and frameworks to improve user experience and development efficiency

Reporting structure & key relationships

The role will operate in a team of project manager, product owners, business analysts, tech leads, UIUX designers and sales specialists.

Maintains strong working relationships with various internal digital teams

Maintains strong working relationships with clients and team members

Requirements

2+ years of experience in backend B / S development

In-depth knowledge in C#, ASP.NET Core and .NET core web API

Experience in MongoDB, Elastic Search, Redis, Containers technology

Familiar with Linux, Windows and other operation environment, and ability to independently deploy the projects

Solid work experience in the front-end technology such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AJAX, etc. to be familiar with Vue, React and other web frameworks

Knowledge of Lotus Notes development is a plus

Knowledge of Cloud experience Azure, AWS or Google is a plus

Ability to maintain effective communication and good relationships with team members

Excellent organisational and time management skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
