THE OPPORTUNITY Are you looking for a frontline role, being the go-to’ person within our Hong Kong Marketing team?Do you want a role where no two days are the same?

As part of our Marketing team, you will be able to utilise your innovative and creative skills to support our partners and lawyers in driving our marketing and business development strategy forward.

As the will Support the Senior Marketing Manager in the delivery of a broad range of key marketing and business development activities for the Hong Kong office, designed to grow the firm's revenue and profitability.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Marketing Coordinator will :

  • Assist in delivery of the location marketing plans according to a timeline agreed with the partners aligned to the relevant practice groups and sectors in the location
  • Support on location-led pitches, capability statements and preparation of pitch-related materials to present at client meetings
  • Be involved in key client development and targeting activities - such as supporting key accounts, client reviews, new client acquisition programme, buyer group activities (such as WIN, DLA Piper's programme for in-house lawyers) and international programmes
  • Provide support for Client / Business Development related internal and external communications activities. Be involved in the production of key Marketing and BD reports as requested by the location

  • Degree / CIM Professional Certificate in Marketing (desirable)
  • A minimum of three years' marketing experience working within Professional Services
  • An understanding of marketing communications and experience of the full range of tools available in the marketing mix is essential
  • Good understanding of generalist marketing activity and be commercially minded
  • A professional approach, score highly in terms of commitment and internal client care
  • Translating the firm-wide client strategy into a pragmatic local approach
  • Contributing information and ideas as part of the marketing strategy process
  • Production of marketing plans
  • Creation and delivery of effective integrated BD / client development plans, focused around Hong Kong and the region's key clients and sectors
  • Development and management of competitive products and service including pitches, RFP, client presentations and other BD documentation
