Job Purpose (Job Summary) :

The position reports to the Head of Retail Sales and forms part of the retail sales team focusing on generating business from various distribution channels with primary focus on China QDII distribution partners.

Key Responsibilities / Duties :

  • Marketing and selling Invesco funds to various intermediaries such as QDII distribution partners with the foreign banks.
  • Besides, the candidate will be also supporting the consumer banks, private banks, IFA and insurance companies in Hong Kong.

  • Building and maintaining the overall relationship with intermediaries with high standard of client service
  • Provide quality support to distributors
  • Assist in exploiting new channels and business opportunities, developing new distribution partnership and pitching new / existing product ideas
  • Achieve sales and revenue target as assigned
  • Achieve agreed level of client engagement activities
  • Representing Invesco as the speaker in different seminars and presenting our market views and investment product ideas professionally
  • Work closely with the team in developing new product ideas, product focus and sales ideas to enhance business opportunities
  • Communicate effectively to the team and other departments on distributors’ requirements and expectations
  • Actively provide market intelligence and analyses for strategic planning and business development
  • Work closely with other departments in delivering timely response to the clients
  • Work Experience / Knowledge :

  • At least 5 years of sales and marketing experience in financial and / or fund products
  • Good technical knowledge in investment
  • Good communication skills and a good presenter
  • Native / very fluent in Mandarin and excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese.
  • Sales oriented
  • Formal Education : (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • University degree, preferably in Finance or Business related disciplines
