Join Cisco as we build a strong partner community, our #1 route to market. The primary responsibility of the Partner Account Manager is to work with Cisco's Partners to grow a profitable business focused on Cisco Solutions.
You will work with their assigned Partners to develop plans that bring incremental revenue to Cisco and to his / her Partners in strategic focus areas.
You build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate our Partners on strategies to position their Cisco based solutions for success against emerging competitors.
You should be "phenomenal teammates" with strong communication skills who can work cross-functionally within Cisco to develop ideas, share standard methodologies and execute business plans.
What You'll Do
Establish, develop and maintain sales relationships with assigned Cisco Partner(s). Point of Contact or shared contact for larger Partner for relationship management.
Responsible for Partner revenue growth.
Focus efforts on ensuring Partner(s) are positioned with services, skills, solution and strategy to maximize partner profitability, growth and Cisco revenue.
Senior role has responsibility to influence and drive strategy planning and investment.
Requires General knowledge of products and services, Business relevance and Architectural / Business knowledge
Orchestrates deep relationship between Partner and Direct Sales Team
Who You'll Work With
The PAM will work closely with Field and Virtual Partner Account Managers, Partner Systems Engineers, Partner Development Managers and other Cisco Channel Team resources to ensure alignment and consistency with their Partner’s focused efforts.
You will also work with the Cisco teams to understand their business and better align to the local business environment.

You have 10 years of experience working with a Partner in the Technology Industry
You have business insight in Cloud technologies, Software sales, Managed Services and different partner business models
You have a business background that enables engagement with Business Decision Makers along with a sales background that will enable partnership within Cisco and our Partner community
You exhibit a proven ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, build and convey compelling value propositions for Partners
You possess the skills to develop a Business Plan that combines the Partner’s key initiatives and Cisco’s priorities for mutual success in the marketplace
You are a flexible person to work within a geographically distributed and matrix environment.
You are super flexible, positive, and creative attitude and can work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment
An autonomous thought process and can drive business results.
You possess strong communication and listening skills
Ability to establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across Cisco and Partners.
An understanding of how to frame client business and technical imperatives and inspire confidence with a variety of internal and external constituents.
You can develop and clearly articulate objectives using both analytical thinking, reference to facts and standard methodologies

Minimum Requirements :
5 or more years experience
A business and sales background
A bachelors degree in a related field or the equivalent experience
Approach business with General Manager mindset utilizing cross-functional Cisco resources
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence decisions and simplify messaging
Relationship management skills, including executive presence and conflict resolution
Adaptability to grow within a dynamic matrixed environment
Business and industry acumen skills
Knowledge of Cisco programs, products, and services
