The Customer and International Business Development Division (C&I) is responsible for providing quality wagering experience to local and overseas customers of The Hong Kong Jockey Club.
It operates 88 Race Meetings a year, 37 Simulcasts days, a thrice-weekly Mark 6 Draw, 7X24 Digital Channels, 7X24 Football Betting Services on over 11,000 different leagues per year.
The ultimate aim is to provide an impressive total customer experience leading to sustainable turnover growth in a responsible manner.
With around 100 off-course betting branches (OCBB) and 2 racecourses, Retail and Telebet Services Department is committed to provide quality and efficient service to our customers throughout Hong Kong.
You will :
Plan for new experience store retail format design based on targeted segments to deliver OCBB customer journey experience in OCBB with an aim to transform customer wagering experience according to the Club’s segmentation strategy.
Work hand in hand with CE team to identify the right F&B formats in OCBB based on targeted segments; layout the format in the designated premises fulfilling all Government regulatory requirements, and in line with the experience creation intended.
Liaise with stakeholders to develop required documents, not limited to presentation, design brief, approval paper, and business case to facilitate the renovation projects to happen.
Work along with PMO and help to manage the project assigned to ensure timely reporting and implementation.
Plan and work with Retail on asset coordination of our existing store maintenance / new experience store renovation projects to ensure efficient allocation of equipment for OCBB daily operations.
Work closely with functional project team which consists of marketing, segments, property, procurement IT, EA and external vendors to accomplish project objectives.
Plan for annual Capex and operating expense of the assigned projects; and ensure spending is within the assigned budget with regular monitoring and reporting.
Track project milestones and ensure the project is completed within budget and the agreed timeline.
Participate in project-based tasks when required and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve present deliverables.
Research and keep abreast of the retail format market trend and development.
Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisors.
You should have :
Bachelor degree in any discipline
A minimum of 7 years' supervisory experience in operational management in a retail / service oriented business
Hands-on retail design and renovation project experience is a must
Strong business acumen and attentive to details
Good analytical skills and numerical sense
Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
Hands-on experience of MS office applications
Strong project management skills
Capability to work under tight timeline and pressure
