Alipay HK aims to offers a consumer-oriented digital wallet, which will further integrate online and offline payments to bring a truly universal experience for consumers.
We are looking for a business development manager with extensive experience in merchants acquiring business and account management in either online / offline payment industry, to expand Alipay wallet acceptance in Hong Kong and maintain the key accounts relationship.
The candidate is expected to be based Hong Kong. Key Responsibilities : 1.Manage local business development, including business planning, market development and operation, integrate resources to cooperate with key clients, government and associations,, small merchants, build up local ecosystem and empower partners;
2.Based on local market characteristics, make localized business strategies, and decompose goals for all segment market managers to achieve final goals;
3.Leverage key best practices to drive and successfully grab the new business opportunities in different segment market; build and effectively manage a list of new merchants or segment market to drive business development in order to meet the business development target;
4.Collaborate with internal resources and external network to prioritize and penetrate key accounts; quickly build relationships with key stakeholders to drive business;
5.Participating in big business tender and business project management. Plan, track and manage key milestone of a whole life cycle of a project from the beginning to the end, detect and mitigate project risks, and ensure successfully delivering the project on time;
6.Product Design : can give feedback to website based on market trends and customer needs to optimize products;7.Partnering closely with leaders at Alipay HK, in particular with Operations, Technology, Marketing to ensure consistency in our commercial plan and operational activities and to appropriately prioritize the execute upon the different business in the context of overall Alipay HK objectives.
1.Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience in Payment or financial services / retail / marketing industry; 2.Experience in business strategy / sales / client management in a consumer facing online and offline retail / services industry;
3.Markets Planning & Layout : be able to build up business development management systems, make use of BD management systems and tools to develop and cultivate market, encourage healthy competition between markets, explore and duplicate methods;
4.Strong communication and interpersonal skill and experience in sales / BD;5.Highly analytical and strategic, flexible and adaptive, be able to shift the role from strategy to day to day tactical operations constantly ;
6.Fast learner and self-motivated; Be able to work independently as well as in a team environment7.Outstanding writing and verbal communications skills in both English and Cantonese are required.
Fluency in Mandarin will definitely be a plus.
