KLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology.
We partner with our world-wide supply base and our design engineering teams to bring new products to market. The GOPS team is continuously working to build our products Better, Faster, Cheaper.
Major Responsibilities :
Manage and align KPI with suppliers, driving performance in accomplish Service Logistics Widely Important Goals (WIGs) supporting smooth replenishment product flow, and customer service parts delivery.
Conduct ongoing MBR / QBR meetings and performance reviews, RCCA activity, QBR’s and TQRDC scorecards ..etc in driving performance excellence
Direct and execute your responsible area of International and Domestic Supply and delivery network inclusive of : transport, warehouse (bonded), customs clearance, , tax / duty / VAT management
Drive ongoing efficiency and cost optimization projects with Suppliers
Perform operational and inventory audits at suppliers
Develop, monitor, enhance costing models for Operations logistics transactions
Support the Global trade compliance requirements including licensed dual use import / export processes and reporting
Ensure performance of Global 3rd Party Freight Payment Provider ensuring processes, controls, reporting and audits are in place according to contract.
Possess an in-depth understanding of domestic and International logistics networks for high-value goods and spare parts including trucking, airfreight, courier and warehousing.
Track and analyze trends to ensure results and propose operation and / or cost optimization improvements
Participate in 3rd party logistics RFP / RFQ’s and support by developing and validating data and cost models
Detailed analytical capability with the ability to understand key drivers and recommend solution options
Speak local language and conversant in speaking and writing in English
Prior experience in managing logistics operations in freight, warehousing, courier modes.
Familiar with country / area customs clearance import / export regulations and requirement on IT products / spares preferable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills are required.
Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
Prior experience in cost management (ie. CBA, ROI) and familiar with various logistics cost elements (ie. inventory, transportation, VAT..etc)
Knowledge of global trade, compliance and other regulatory experience with solid understanding of customs and brokerage and hazardous material movements is an asset.
Education & Experience :
A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Logistics operations, vendor / accounts management in 3PL suppliers or in Enterprise Logistics Operation Function.
Experience in service parts supply chain an advantage.
A Bachelor of Arts, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or Sciences Degree, or equivalent experience in a Supply Chain Operations environment.
Demonstrated ability to complete multiple, complex operational projects
Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
