Within Google Cloud, the Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) Partnerships team is driving growth to SMBs via our global partner network.

As SMB Partner Manager for North Asia and China, your role will be to cultivate Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) growth with SMBs by working with our direct sales teams and our extensive partner network.

You will work with key SMB-focused partners to develop their Google Cloud business via campaigns, training and enablement.

You’ll drive to optimize our funnel and develop initiatives that increase SMB growth. You’ll be the key point of contact for our SMB partners, developing a deep understanding of partner growth drivers and identifying creative solutions to increase business across different categories of Google Cloud partners.

As our Partner Success Manager, you will hold a holistic view of channel business and will be responsible for working with different teams within the Google organization.

  • Manage business performance of focused partners, establishing clear, mutual commitments around marketing and skills development while incorporating the rhythm of the relationship.
  • Partner with the SMB sales team to define and execute strategies, including routing prospects, partner training, marketing and other growth initiatives.
  • Help partners grow their Google practice and product portfolio through joint development of business plans and Google offerings.

  • Manage reporting and metrics for your region, drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and develop quarterly business reviews for partners.
  • Develop a territory plan and orchestrate different resources within Google’s organization to support capacity planning and partner recruitment activities to create and maintain a long-term, scalable, channel model.
  • Broker internal resources, tools, references and / or investments needed to implement business plans in order to help partners work towards business goals.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in a B2B sales, Independent Software Vendor or consultancy role.
  • Technology sales and partner management experience.
  • Experience working in the China, Hong Kong and Taiwan markets.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience with the cloud partner ecosystem, including System Integrators (SIs) / Service Providers (SPs) Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Telcos and online partners.
  • Experience in partner management or technical experience, achieving strategic goals.
  • Experience developing growth initiatives, running experiments and developing conclusions based on data.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate in multi-regional dynamic team.
  • Highly analytical with developed problem solving skills, capable of translating analysis into actionable plans.
  • Organizational, project management and execution skills.
