Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Regional EAS team in leading the FICO team to provide user and system support to our Finance users and participating in APAC system rollout.

Team Management :

  • Managing the FICO team in providing user and system support to our Finance community in APAC
  • Provide functional direction / management to the FICO team’s local and offshore resources
  • Organize activities, set priorities, and assign task / project to FICO team’s local and offshore resources, monitoring workloads of the team and quality of deliverables
  • Act as an escalation point for FICO team members
  • Keeping leadership informed of progress and issues
  • Daily Operations and Support :

  • Manage and support business needs for accounting, cost controlling, product costing and finance consolidation
  • Monitor incidents to ensure issues are closed in a timely manner and within agreed SLA
  • Organize and coordinate testing sessions for system release and upgrade
  • Managing and work with cross-functional teams and Finance management teams / key users within APAC
  • Interface with central team / functional BPIs on template / process improvement / functional rollout
  • Review, prepare and update documentation (procedure / manual)
  • Provide training on systems and business processes if required
  • Projects :

  • Involve in project implementation, gap analysis, blueprint / requirements gathering and document preparation
  • Support rollout projects, continuous improvement projects, deploy group procedures and tools
  • Coordinating with key users through different phases of the implementation cycle
  • Perform data migration and authentication settings
  • Requirements

  • Degree holder preferably in Accountancy, Business Administration, Business Information Management or related disciplines, strong background of business processes is a definite asset
  • Minimum 10 years of implementation and support experience in SAP FI / CO module
  • SAP Finance / FICO experience, including sub-modules of GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO, COPA, Bank Accounting, etc., and interfaces between different SAP modules ( SD / MM) and other digital support systems.
  • Knowledge of Concur and / or Matchbox is a plus
  • Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment
  • Shared Services experience to drive standardization of processes and productivity
  • Experience in global / regional projects roll-out is a plus
  • Effectively lead projects and deliver with limited direct supervision
  • Experience presenting to users or other decision makers
  • Strong ability to interact with business users
  • Ability to perform cross functional analysis and solve problems
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to work with remote and overseas teams
  • Capability to teach and train
  • Excellent communication, client facing skills, workaround identification, problem solving, conflict / resolution management, active listening, time management, and interpersonal skills required
  • Mature, self-initiated and willing to face challenge
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Willing to travel on a periodical basis
