We are looking for a People Operations Specialist Lead who will represent the Lab49 Operations team in supporting people during their entire employment life cycle.

Together with your business stakeholders, you will design and establish Lab49 policies and strategies and, at the same time, support their day-to-day execution.

This position will report into our Group Head of Operations, who is based in New York City. However, this position can be remote in the US with travel expectations below 10%.

RESPONSIBILITES

Support and execute the compensation and bonus planning process, ranking system and other policies / procedures, in collaboration with HR, Finance and business functions involved.

Verification and sign-off of candidate offer package and related materials.

Oversee the employee onboarding process, control background check execution, adjusting the process as needed based on any new requirements.

Track personnel related payments and reimbursements and ensure they are timely and accurate. Responsible for tracking / updating immigration, tuition support, promotions, payroll / benefit changes.

Provide consultation to Lab49 employees on compensation, benefits, employee relations, terminations, etc. as needed.

Backup as needed for New Hire Orientations Oversee the client onboarding process, including working with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure timely and compliant onboarding.

Lead, manage and train a small team with HR operations.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED CAPABILITIES

At least 3-5 years of experience in business support, Operations, Human Resources or Audit is preferred.

Good understanding of HR practices Well organized with extreme attention to detail and short distance from said to done.

Ability to work with statistics and numbers and convert the latter into meaningful messages and solutions.

Ability to create and follow processes, delivering additional value and efficiency to the organization. Experience handling and processing sensitive information.

Flexibility and readiness to quickly adjust to changing environment.

Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Strong verbal and written communication skills.
