Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree or above in a health-related discipline (such as biological science, pharmacy, nursing, medical science);
ii) good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese; (iii) good interpersonal skills and communicative skills;
iv) strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; (v) knowledge in statistics and research methods; (vi) strong commitment to high quality clinical research;
preferably (vii) experience in clinical research related activities; and (viii) knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), statistical programs, as well as experience with other relevant software.
The appointee will (a) assist in organizing clinical research projects at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Shatin; (b) participate in study co-ordination, patient assessment, as well as clinical data collection, entry and analysis;
c) clinical research monitoring and site management activities; (d) work at irregular working hours (including night shift) / during weekends / public holidays, if required;
and (e) perform other tasks as assigned.
Appointment will be made on contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
