Lead, Payroll

We are looking for a Lead, Payroll to focus in payroll management for Hong Kong and overseas country.

Your Role :

  • Create scalable payroll strategies, processes, refining current payroll operations to streamline and automate processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and best-in-class services
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, payroll funding, tax filing on a pay period and ongoing basis
  • Build, lead, develop and mentor a payroll team
  • Partner closely with internal partners (HRSS, Finance, country HR) to deliver pay experience to our employees
  • Lead payroll development and implementation process for all entities, as needed
  • Manage the day-to-day payroll operations in all areas, coordinating with payroll providers to achieve the processing of payroll within all regulatory, labor and tax guidelines
  • Build and maintain employee confidence and trust by setting up process for promptly responding to requests, developing clear communications, and protecting the confidentiality of payroll operations
  • Manage the operational aspects of the payroll function including vendor invoices, service level agreements, vendor contract, etc.
  • Operate with a strategic mindset of continuous performance improvement to streamline and automate as opportunities arise
  • To succeed in your role :

  • Degree holder with 6 years of hands-on experience in regional payroll
  • Deep knowledge and experience with payroll vendors
  • Experience to handle payroll transformation projects
  • Detailed oriented, deadline driven and work well under pressure with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, ability to comfortably interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization
