CIB Operations- IB Deal Services Relationship Management Partner- Associate

Responsibilities :

Assist the IB Product and Coverage teams including but not limited to :

  • Primary point of contact for bankers to coordinate & complete key transactional tasks
  • Facilitation of operational client and business queries
  • Partner with the Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) Client Office and Compliance teams to assess documentation requirements for new client legal entity on-boarding and new business implementation
  • Coordinate with WKO Banking Middle Office, coverage and product bankers in region to ensure local or product specific KYC and AML requirements for Clients and transactions are met
  • Participate in bankers’ regional meetings to proactively identify areas to add value and potential roadblocks that need to be addressed
  • Provide transparency on overall process and progress
  • Monitor deal controls to ensure milestones are met & achieved in a timely manner
  • Participation in global process enhancements
  • Collaborate with business and support functions to spread and leverage best practices
  • Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Client Servicing or Client facing roles within the Financial Services Industry is required
  • Previous experience & sound knowledge of investment banking products (Acquisition and Leveraged Finance, Debt Capital CM, M&A,ECM) as well as Global Corporate Banking products & processes is preferred
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Comfortable dealing with clients / senior executives on a regular or ad hoc basis
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolution
  • Ability and drive to take full ownership of processes
  • Strong partnership and coordination skills
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Proactive / self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners and clients in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
  • Deliver results in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint
