    Position Summary

    Responsible to the overall management of the Boutique to insure profitability, Brand recognition, team development, superior customer service and customer database building and development.

    It is also the Manager’s responsibility to communicate and transmit these expectations to the team

    Main Responsibilities

    Sales Management and Business Development

  • Achievement of sales turnover in the Boutiques
  • Sets goal for all Sales Associate and motivates team on a daily basis
  • Completes daily and monthly reporting to analyze business trends and needs
  • To understand the particularity of the boutique environment (location) and to suggest action plan accordingly
  • Resolve customer problems or complaints by determining optimal solutions
  • Analyze store performance and propose actions needed
  • Actively engaged in sales demonstrations to coach team on various selling techniques
  • To initiate ideas for various customer-centric treatments
  • Represents the Brand inside and outside of the Boutique
  • Responsible for the development of customer database
  • To act as brand ambassador to build and anchor relationship between boutique and VIP clients
  • Customer Service

  • Maintain the highest standard of customer service at the boutique
  • Ensure the employees provide exceptional customer service
  • Ensure each and every Sales Associate is well trained to handle complex customer-related issues and complaints.
  • Store operations

  • To ensure the best VM according to company’s global merchandising and visual standards
  • Ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to company standards
  • Holds briefings to insure consistent communication and information level
  • Cascade communications from office Retail / Marketing / Distribution team, and insures team understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • To oversee and ensure smooth operation at boutique level on a daily basis
  • Take necessary actions to effectively control operating costs and to enhance operational efficiency at boutique level
  • To ensure group security guidelines are well respected and implemented
  • To ensure full compliance of group internal procedures and control
  • Supervision of team to ensure flawless execution of boutique operating procedures
  • Staff Management

  • Effectively manage employee turnover. Provide a positive working environment and handle employee issues appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the overall training and development of Sales Associates and reviews their performances (coaching, one to one)
  • Recruit, train, evaluate and counsel store employees. Schedule, organize and direct assignments and work schedule
  • Ensure all staff is trained in selling techniques and product knowledge with follow up measures implemented together with Training Manager
  • Completes employee performance evaluations and improvement plans; follow up on a regular basis
  • To provide support and guidance to individual team member, and propose career development plan
  • To provide motivation to the team to achieve TPI targets
  • To promote team-building culture and a harmonious working environment
  • To set up a standardized and practical training program for new joiner
  • To plan and execute monthly staff roster to ensure effective boutique operations at all times
  • Monitor and manage staff attendance
  • Stock management

  • Stock rotation, monitor stock level and identify fast and slow sellers, followed by recommendation of appropriate actions
  • To ensure accuracy on all inventory records on a daily basis
  • To review and monitor product assortment and propose stock requests to Retail Office to react to market needs
