Key Responsibilities
Collect data from a variety of sources, such as engineering data, finance records, inventory data, data process records, risk process records etc.
both from internal and external and turn those data into meaningful reports
Consult with internal teams, and where necessary other third parties on data type and nature, and perform validation in order to define the correct / accurate data analytical approaches
Implement and maintain structured processes for data analysis and data management
Identify data trends and develop assumptions to model various data analysis
Troubleshoot and manage analysis exceptions where required
Review and analyze complex data analytic models and design reports as assigned
Develop automated and reusable methods for extracting requested information
Identify and assist in implementing data improvement (systems, technologies, use of data, etc.) e.g. provide requirements, best industry practices etc.
Improve the access and visualizations of data
Maintain updated records and documentation on all analytic models
Assist Finance, Engineering, Operations, Data Privacy and Risk teams with data queries and support reviews on data assigned programs
Person Specifications
Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, IT, Accounting or other numerate science disciplines
Around 5 years of concrete experience in business data analysis, database marketing or customer information management, preferable in Telecom industry
Strong analytical skills and business acumen, be able to translate statistical data into business insight to augment managerial decision making
Solid communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
Strong in using statistical tools (COGNOS, SQL etc.), better has VBA and data visualization using tools (Tableau etc.) experience
