Associate (Fixed IncomeTrade Support) - a large European financial institution is hiring an Associate to join their regional Trade Management Division
Key Responsibilities :
Verify and control static data using SDM platform
Monitor Price Quotes and Trading activities in Front and Middle Office platforms.
Co-ordinate and follow up with Counterparties to resolve mismatched / unmatched trades and failed transactions
Provide input to crossing platforms and follow up on execution status of trading positions
Input OTC products trade into Markitwire platform and monitor the matching status. Follow up with vendor support in case of any issues.
Monitor interface between the Front office and Middle office systems for trade breaks
Immediately escalate and alert brokers of any trade / price discrepancies for prompt action or correction.
Demonstrate the ability to quickly escalate problems to management and stakeholders regarding trades errors, trade positions, system performance issues or incidents
Perform daily Operations Control reports, e.g. Reconciliation of brokerages from the previous day, Confirmation suppression, etc.
Prepare Trade Confirmations and client's End of Day trading reports
Prepare daily Statement of Transactions or ad-hoc reports as required by client
Prepare daily Brokerage reports and End of Day reports to the Desk Heads to sign off
Prepare monthly reports for Regulators, e.g. HKMA
Fulfil any additional / ad-hoc duties as required to meet business needs
Maintain and update Client Contact details in the client contact database
Record brokerage for clients with agreements in place and send to the relevant departments for collection
Maintain good audit trails, books and records & ensure SOP / Procedures are up-to-date
Act as the SME of the team and support the proper escalation matrix and team structure.
Key Skills :
Bachelor degree or above, or with equivalent years of relevant experience
Senior Trade Management Associate : Minimum 5 years of Middle Office / Trade Support experience (experience in a Trading Floor environment is a distinct advantage)
Sound knowledge in FX, Money Market, Rates and Credit Bonds products and APAC markets
Experience from leading a small team and working from front office environment will be advantageous
Knowledge in Macro and VBA - Hands on experience in developing & modifying Macro spreadsheets
