Your field of responsibility

Your responsibilities include :

Analyze new and existing corporate and FI counterparties primarily in Greater China, conduct in-depth risk analysis and recommend credit ratings, transaction ratings and risk appetite

Provide credit approval recommendation for fixed income, equity and lending transactions; Be able to work independently on complex credit proposals to reach a solution under the mentorship of seniors

Participate in client meetings together with Front Office colleagues to conduct due diligence. Travel at times would be required

Set credit terms and review documentation including loan facility agreement, ISDA / CSA and other credit agreements

Perform industry reviews and stress testing of covered portfolio companies on a regular basis and Closely supervise risk events and raise to management

Collaborate with the wider APAC credit team to cover businesses and counterparties in the other markets; as well as the wider CRO APAC team and other risk functions to improve the governance and risk control culture of the bank.

Your skills and experience

The team is looking for candidates who are accountable as a team-player with a strong critical thinking and communication capability.

This role requires an experience in the APAC credit market, preferably China. He or she is able to work independently to identify key risks and mitigates as well as to communicate the view succinctly in writing and oral presentation.

To excel in this role, you should possess :

University graduate, with minimum 3-5 years in credit risk management area with good understanding and strong preference for corporate credit experience

Knowledge of the capital markets and experience in investment banking business and corporate lending

Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skill, strong communication skill, independent thinking and self-starter with hands-on and dedicated approach

Collaborate and be prepared to engage people from other locations and units on handling business requests and initiatives

Proficient in Mandarin and English due to business and partner requirements

Keen to take initiatives and able to use technology for problem solving

Familiar with Microsoft software such as word, excel and power point is essential

Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking who can work on own initiative and can deliver on time under pressure with a high level of integrity and flexibility, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
