Purpose of the Job and Scope
As a Senior Business Analyst one of the key Schneider Electric business division w. >
5B USD revenue, you will be an important contributor to the BU global corporate strategy team, working closely with managers and senior BU leaders around the world.
You will be responsible for Energy global market coverage, regular competition watches, researches and analysis, providing critical insights on key industry trends, competitor activity as well as making recommendations to the business on both strategic and functional topics.
You will also lead and support our continuous research on the New Energy Landscape driven by the 3D + E equation : Decentralization, Decarbonization & Digitization + Electrification.
Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but not be limited to :
Own deep-dive research topics about new energy landscape : work independently or with team members; research to identify market trends and emerging markets with potential impact on our core business, originate / take on new research topics periodically and prepare the topic study report for management team;
Manage end-to-end research tasks with sound project planning to build the comprehensive view of the market (, growth, drivers, customer segmentation, needs & behaviors).
Leverage data from various sources and turn them into consistent views to support a solid market story
Facilitate the overall analytical process refinement : continuously drive a mindset of excellence, identify gaps in existing data and reporting processes, propose solutions for improvements
Support the strategy VP on the business division’s corporate development activities &A and partnership to understand the (new) market landscape, target pool and profiles, Business strategy planning;
segment strategy, etc.
Support global Market & Competition Intelligence activities : monitor and communicate key market and competitor news; maintain the business division’s Knowledge Management Repository
3-5years of experience, Corporate Management Trainee or analyst in consulting firm will be preferred.
Bachelor or above degree in the relevant fields ( Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering disciplines with good business knowledge, logical thinking and strategy mindset)
Proficient in English, capability of a secondary language () will be a plus
Strong communication and presentation skills
Strong experience in data analysis, ability to work with complicated data sets
Proficient in analytics and simple statistic tools
Understandings of financial concepts, reports, and analytics
Flexible and able to work under pressure and with short timeline
Professional attitude and attention to details
Self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with changing demands
High proficiency in MS Suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint, knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI or similar data analytics tools would be a plus
Willingness and appetite to learn and develop
