In Financial Management, we improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business.
We are looking for Manager candidate with prior experience as Project Manager / Senior Project Team Members in the Banking sector in one or more of the following areas.
Candidates are expected to have both a good understanding of the recent development in the Banking industry.
Finance function transformations
Financial control framework design and implementations
Finance process re-engineering
Finance systems implementation
Finance function sourcing strategy development and implementation
Regulatory change (Basel III Reforms, IRRBB, FRTB)
SOX and internal controls
Candidates are expected to have a good understanding of the recent developments in the Banking industry.
Project planning / Project Management experience including scheduling and status reporting
Lead projects / workstreams and provide guidance to junior staff to deliver client ready deliverables
Design and update policies and controls to align with the latest regulatory and compliance requirements
Change management support on the regulatory changes including communication with regulators and training
Develop rapport and working relationships with different level of clients
Support Associate Directors, Directors and Partners in pursuing new business opportunities, including the preparation of proposals and participation in proposal presentation
Support senior management in developing new products and methodologies
Develop, recruit and retain junior members of the team
Manage your own development in accordance with agreed personal and team goals.
The individual will have
More than 5 years experience working in a Big 4 professional firm focusing on the Banking industry or in the Finance functions of an Banking company
Good knowledge of the finance function, its organisation, processes and systems
Good knowledge of the recent development of the Banking industry
Full project lifecycle delivery experience and a proven track record in delivering high quality project, work-stream or assignment outputs
Experience in business development in certainly a plus
Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members preferred
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting or other related disciplines preferred
Accounting qualification (CPA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Cantonese or Mandarin speaking candidates are preferred
Self-driven and enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude
Strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion
Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and, in particular, PowerPoint
