KPMG is building out its leading Wealth & Asset Management Advisory Practice and is looking for a passionate and seasoned Senior Consultant / Manager with experience in this space.
We work with top tier private banks and retail banks' wealth and asset management divisions on industry defining topics from 'Strategy-to-Results', including strategy, operations, regulatory, and technology.

Responsibilities
Work closely with Partner / Director in driving business development efforts
Design and run workstreams or small projects with limited oversight
Support wealth & asset managers in strategic reviews, transformation projects, including project management, business model review and design including implementation
Generate hypotheses and drive the storyboarding process
Produce client ready deliverables that require limited review
Data and analytics review, including basic financial modelling
Develop solutions to complex problems and challenge the thinking of more senior colleagues and clients
Liaise effectively with clients whilst working on engagements and act as an 'ambassador' for KPMG
Develop rapport and working relationships with junior clients and maintain them outside of engagements
Be a strong and effective team player
Required experience & technical skills
2-6 years of relevant experience in any of the below :
Consulting experience with leading strategy houses
Big 4 experience with a focus on financial services, with exposure to wealth / asset management companies
Internal Project / Consulting team within a wealth management firm
Product Management role within a wealth management firm
Regulator experience, focused on wealth management
Degree from a leading institution
Strong slide structuring and writing capabilities
Evidence of project management / workstream leadership
Knowledge of wealth / asset management operations
Strong interest with technology disruptions / FinTech
Research skills, including market research and regulatory review
Project experience in regulatory / operational / TOM-like projects
Project management certification and knowledge of Agile delivery will be an advantage
Analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity
Confidence, people skills, ambition and pragmatism
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese
