We are currently seeking an experiencedprofessional to join our team.

In this role, you will :

Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure ownconduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.

Perform accurate and efficient cash and counter serviceduties and to offer a high standard of courteous service to customers.

Satisfy customer need, he / she is required to be familiarwith local rules and regulation to answer customer enquiry and provide goodadvice.

Establish and keep good relationship with valuablecustomers by providing one-stop counter services.

Cash handling

Provide cash service to customers skillfully, efficientlyand accurately and ensure service provided to customers constantly meets orexceeds the requirements set down in the HSBC Service Protocol.

To float / return cash from / to cashier and ensure accuratehandling in cash positions and well balance teller's own cash positionaccording to internal requirement.

To complete withdraw and deposit slips / application etc.,for customers in case of need.

Be alertness in counter fraud risk and counterfeit notesidentification.


To answer customer queries courteously at counter andover the phone and refer to superiors when problem encountered. To ensurecustomers are served without any kind of complain and dissatisfaction.

Receive instructions include supporting documents fromcustomers approaching corporate counter or by mail-in / fax-in.

Handle account maintenance instructions received fromcorporate customers, check and verify documents provided according to relevantprocedures and guidelines, and follow up with customer if needed.


Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC InternalControl Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations madeby internal / external auditors and external regulators.

Maintain awareness of operational risk including itsidentification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification andreporting in accordance with the relevant section of the Group Operations FIM.

Take proactive and preventive measures to avoidnon-compliance cases and repeated or high-risk audit comments and minimizeoperational loss.


To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements :

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Good understanding of banking rules and regulations
  • Strong sense of responsibility
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Willing to develop to sales role
  • Good written and spoken English, Mandarin is preferred
  • Good computer skill
