Digital Marketing Assistant Manager

Responsibilities :

  • To initiate and execute mobile marketing campaigns including user acquisition and engagement
  • To independently carry out agreed digital campaign in particular mobile marketing programs as assigned by supervisors
  • To develop mobile application plan on various mobile platforms such as smartphone, iPad and other table devices, etc if necessary
  • To oversee the development, enhancement and marketing of creative applications on smart-phone, iPad and other tablet devices that help promote Hong Kong as a desirable travel destination or enhance in-town visitor’s travel experience and management of the mobile apps’ product life cycle
  • To manage monthly performance targets for various HKTB mobile Applications · To supervise agencies and in-house production unit to develop and implement agreed marketing initiatives for promoting Hong Kong as a premier travel destination
  • To oversee update of mobile content and work with IT for enhancement of mobile-related system in order to ensure an efficient delivery of updated information from various mobile platforms
  • To maintain a close business relationship with existing business partners for a continued support to various marketing initiatives
  • To extend on partnership network and leverage on partners’ strength to continue to enrich HKTB’s mobile marketing portfolio
  • To attend industry conferences to network and develop industry expertise
  • To stay current on latest technology and identify new marketing opportunities
  • To ensure alignment between mobile marketing strategy and the overall corporate marketing strategy
  • To undertake any other duties / special assignments as directed by the Manager
  • Job Requirements :

  • University graduate or equivalent, preferably in digital / interactive communication, e-Marketing, Marketing Communications, Advertising, Tourism or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing field with 3-5 years of experience executing mobile or online marketing campaigns
  • Strong background and interest in digital and interactive products, specifically mobile segment
  • Demonstrate skills and experience in executing and analyzing mobile marketing campaigns, applications development and maintenance
  • Experience with improving current app’s positions on App Store and Google Play and marketing of mobile apps in third party channels
  • Strategic thinker and creative marketer
  • Good business acumen with excellent execution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to coordinate and influence internal and external parties to work toward common goals
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Must be adaptive to change in order to cope with a fast pace industry and working environment
  • A good team player
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English
