Job Description : Your background
3+ years’ work experience in a trading system application support role
Experience in supporting Equities trading business with working knowledge of Order and Execution management systems
Degree level qualifications in computer science, engineering or science based discipline
Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Proactive, has initiative, diligent, hardworking. Willing to learn.
Team player and able to work independently in a time sensitive trading environment
Good verbal and communication skills are necessary.
Other Qualifications :
Good system knowledge of Unix / Linux, Messaging Middleware (MQ, EMS, RV, AMPS), FIX Protocol, Refinitiv and Bloomberg market data, Oracle and networks.
Experience writing SQL, Unix shell scripts, Perl and python.
Experience with ITRS monitoring, Java VM, Windows, Ansible, Autosys,

The Markets Application Production Services (MAPS) group is a global group responsible for the management of production systems across Equities including Futures & Options (F&O).
The group works closely with the business and provides application support. The group closely interacts with the development and infrastructure teams to manage all changes to the production environment.
MAPS has a strong focus on operational excellence and process improvement.
What you will do
High-Touch and Portfolio Trading MAPS Support :
Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for Equity Cash, Portfolio Trading and Derivatives Trading.
Manage releases of new and existing applications to the production environment. Perform analysis and testing of new and existing applications as required.
The candidate will be required to look across the entire production environment to aid continuous improvement with the state and supportability of production systems.
Build and maintain relationships with business users and other stakeholders
Work closely with Development and infrastructure teams to ensure that issues and defects are reported and actioned and meet business requirements and timelines
Work closely with other Support team members across the Asia Pacific region and globally to ensure consistent service delivery and standardization
Perform Problem Management and Incident Reporting activities including root cause analysis and documenting corrective actions and remediation steps
Strong focus on Operational Excellence and implementing essential improvements
Perform BCP drill exercises and work with BCP coordinators and assist with audits when called upon.
