Job Definition (Key Purpose of the Job) :
Supporting Supply Chain team to ensure inventory metrics and KPIs can be met, he / she has enough logic and reasoning to use data backed analytics to support scenario planning and proposals to stakeholders.
It is key to enable business partners for decision and actions to meet or exceed inventory targets. He / She is expected to support short term and long-
term inventory management strategies and initiatives, influencing in discussion to mitigate risk or capitalize on opportunities to optimize inventory efficiency.
Key Result Areas :
Build the short term and long-term inventory plans at APAC level while be able to build individual country assumptions and inventory plans identify risks and opportunity on such plans and driving discussion with team manager.
Manage monthly, quarterly, annual inventory roll and reconciliation by countries and providing insights on changes and assumptions against the roll.
Supporting team manager on the total APAC roll up and providing suggestion on adjustment to meet the inventory KPIs at APAC level.
Identify risks and opportunity related to inventory situation, suggest mitigation plans on handling risks and estimating opportunity based on different resources.
Collaborate closely with Supply Planning and Demand Planning Team on re-balancing inventory at optimal level on shipment phasing and right time after inventory evaluation.
Liaise with Finance and Sales team on monthly review, highlights for key call out on inventory changes and gap.
Drive consensus from business partners on managing inventory with appropriate actions (country and channel level) against revenue forecast.
Ability to identify dead stock or abnormal inventory and propose actions to liquidate or handle such inventory.
Prepare ad hoc management reports & business analysis to support business decision.
Drive process improvement and system enhancement on inventory efficiency.
Ensure control related standards and procedures.
