Take ownership of the client onboarding process, across all jurisdictions globally and initial due diligence activities bringing potential relationships from prospect client’ to trading client’ in the shortest possible time, minimizing risks, delays and maximizing the quality standards ensuring full compliance with all relevant requirements
Facilitate and coordinate with relevant FO, Business COO’s and advise on APAC IB(GTS, EQ and IBCM) clients on onboarding requirements both from KYC, aacount opening perspective as well as from product, credit and legal perspective.
Manage priorities, across all cases / jurisdictions, based on timeline, risk ratings, and legal entity types
Support screening activities, (PEP / Sanctions, Adverse News) and engage with Compliance and other speciality desks to ensure clearance.
Ensure high quality while submitting cases to Compliance for final approvals, including high quality for data capture in various workflow systems.
Assist in Ad / Hoc Ongoing regulatory projects, and perform relevant control activities in On boarding.

Your skills and experience

1 - 5 years of experience for degree / non-degree holder
Previous experience gained in an international financial institution (investment banking), securities / trading house or Asset Manager.
Familiarity with AML / KYC / Regulatory regimes and process in key US, EMEA and APAC jurisdictions
Familiarity with investment banking and corporate finance products (such as M&A, IPO, DCM, ECM etc.)
Self-starter with good project management skills
Accurate and keen on detail
Acts to add value to the business and clients
Has a client service mind-set
Makes timely informed decisions
Uses resources efficiently
Proactive, drives projects, processes to achieve goals and deliver results
Promotes timely flow of information
Ability to multitask as well as outstanding problem solving skills
