What will you be doing?

  • Support the intelligence and analytics manager by turning insights from our Data Platform into actionable decisions
  • Contribute to the development of analytical approaches and methodologies to solve business questions using a varying set of data sources
  • Be the facilitator and contact to develop and enhance our analytics approaches and models that underpin our sales and revenue business
  • Specific Tasks Include :

  • Support the design and build automated dashboard reports to address key business questions with the support of Audience Insights and Turner DV&I teams.
  • Analyse which reporting elements and data sources can be centralised and what operational process are required.

  • Build the agreed upon analytics projects including but not limited to, audience forecast using regression analysis, segmentation, recommendation and optimisation solution and campaign planning / effectiveness from start to finish.
  • Interpret and manipulate large volumes of data to provide actionable insights in a user-friendly way. This will require understanding the business needs, the data structure of the various inputs to determine the most relevant output from Excel to PowerBI to Looker.
  • Play a proactive role within the London based digital analytics team to identify areas of improvement for audiences & data output and information needs.
  • Work on every stage of the digital & data process from project inception to analysis and presentation of insights internally and externally.

    What do we require from you?

  • Experience in modelling (econometric or advanced statistical analysis) digital analytics preferably within media
  • Good experience using statistical software packages with a willingness to learn new tools, data analysis techniques and applied statistics
  • Knowledge of quantitative methods and the ability to roll up sleeves and dig into the numbers
  • Experience with web analytics and a good understanding of digital metrics, dashboard creation and reporting, media campaign optimisation, and on-
  • line marketing performance measurement

  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to quality check their own work to ensure data anomalies / mistakes are caught prior to delivery of work
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with a high standard of quality
  • Hands on, problem solving abilities can do approach (so someone who is a thinker and a doer)
  • Excellent communication skills written and spoken able to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent Excel skills with advanced skills such as VBA preferable
  • Highly desirable :

  • Programming and coding language skills using Python, R, etc
  • Predictive modelling and multi-touch attribution modelling experience
  • Knowledge of data analysis software and familiarity with key TV and online consumer research and audience measurement sources
  • Good understanding of research concepts and survey methodologies
  • Rounded knowledge of digital media buying and delivery
  • Working knowledge of digital performance platforms like Adobe, Quantcast, ComScore, DFP, Freewheel, Moat
