We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to cover our APAC region! This role will be responsible for handling pricing and commercial policy support for a business unit or for supporting a region in the execution of pricing and commercial terms.
The Commercial Operations function within SAM Finance plays a critical role in the sales process. The Manager of Commercial Operations, Asia will play a key role, partnering with staff across Refinitiv in a manner that drives business objectives and contributes to Refinitiv’s business and financial goals.
Position Summary :
Provides Commercial approval for non standard pricing and commercial terms.
Defines and implements changes to our commercial model.
Develops and implements pricing strategies to drive sales revenues and grow existing client base.
Engages with the Sales and Account Management to structure and negotiate complex and strategically critical deals
Solves unique and complex pricing / commercial issues that may not necessarily have prescribed solutions or guidelines.
Anticipates customer needs to influence the development of pricing strategies and solutions.
Conducts analyses to identify and model competitive pricing and projects impact of pricing changes on sales revenue and growth.
Provides strategic commercial expertise to stakeholders. Contributes to business and functional strategies.
Communicates complex pricing strategies to client base.
Works effectively across the organization to influence and build acceptance for competitive pricing position.
Partners with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Business Development to identify optimal pricing position that is aligned with business strategy and revenue targets.
Knowledge & Skill :
College degree plus 7+ years of relevant experience
Fluency in written and spoken English. Additional languages a plus.
Strong communication and presentation skills
Proven impact and influence with senior management at global firms
Understanding of financial markets
Experience with sales workflows and negotiation skills
Basic financial acumen and grasp of basic financial business drivers
Broad knowledge of the organization, products and processes
Proven ability to think deeply and quantitatively about business problems, providing well balanced assessment and solutions.
