Senior Software Sales Executive Hedge Funds and Investment Managers

  • AlphaDesk is experiencing rapid growth, having recently been acquired by Refinitiv (previously Thomson Reuters). This is an exciting time to join a dynamic team that is establishing a market leading brand in Asian financial markets.

    We are seeking an experienced software sales executive, with a verifiable track record of revenue growth and customer success in, and the personal attributes to match an emerging and agile growth business.

    The position reports into the AlphaDesk Global Proposition Manager.

    Role Responsibilities

  • Delivering the AlphaDesk annual sales budget for the region
  • Prospecting, and building sustainable pipeline
  • Managing the full life-cycle of each sales engagement
  • Proactively driving business through influencer / recommender channels (eg, prime brokers, partners, outsourced service providers)
  • Providing feedback to product management
  • Promoting the AlphaDesk brand values, and our reputation as a SaaS provider
  • Experience and Qualifications Required

  • A track-record in software sales to the hedge fund and investment management market
  • An Asian business network that includes the hedge fund and investment management community
  • An understanding of financial markets and the investment process
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Finance diploma
  • Optionally, experience of demonstrating software at an introductory level
  • An open communicator used to working with managers and peers on a remote basis. This is especially important, given that the individual will work alongside the Refinitiv Sales & Account Management team in Asia, as well as the AlphaDesk global team
  • A resourceful and pro-active nature, coupled with a desire to learn, and to share knowledge within the team
  • Ability to work well independently, and as part of a team
  • Strong, self-motivated, work-ethic
