Digital Product Portfolio Management

Serve as Roadmap owner, including defining overall product strategy direction, and ensuring a feature / story pipeline exists to support the product strategy and objectives

Be a vocal advocate and digital thought leader for new technologies and innovation.
Champion user-first experience design
Develop and present new digital product proposals, operating plans, and digital product resource plans in support of business development activities
Be the bridge and integrator between business owners, digital CoE and IT teams
Lead cross-functional digital solution teams to develop / improve digital solutions
Establish relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across the company including Business owners, IT, Legal, Brand and Agency
Monitor, communicate, and incorporate new digital capabilities into the long-term digital roadmap
Work with Enterprise Architects to provide input for the end-to-end Enterprise solution road-map, and own an individual product roadmap
Lead, motivate, and develop a product team, continuously improving the team’s influence and impact with executives and senior leaders
Coordinate deployment dates, ensures all stakeholder groups are trained and ensures proper communication of deployment impacts to the business
Manage performance, budgets and staffing arrangement
People Management Duties
Direct activities of direct staff, IT Digital Product Owner team, Digital Delivery team, and project team members
Evaluate performance and plan development for staff engagement
Decide on hiring, promoting and disciplining staff members
Ensure effective succession plan is implemented to review, identify, train and develop potential successors
Implement staff management activities to align with company directive
Minimum Job Requirements :
Education & Experience
University graduate with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, at least 10 years at managerial level
Competency
Strong people management and leadership skill
Sound problem solving and decision-making ability
Proven ability to identify innovation opportunities, define and deliver innovative business function
Strong believer and advocate of customer centricity and innovative mindset as key success factors underpinning sustainable business growth
Deep understanding of digital user experience
Proven experience leading product teams, and driving large scale, enterprise-wide digital projects.
Be a relentless champion of the User, and the user experience, and know how to identify and focus on the highest-value work.
Experience in all phases of the development life cycle, with familiarity with the Agile methodology.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, particularly in the ability to analyze digital data and use it to communicate performance and identify opportunities.
Experience tracking emerging trends in user behavior and developing UX to serve user needs.
Demonstrated track record of leading / influencing diverse stakeholders toward a common solution.
Proficiency in user experience and design principles.
Sound business knowledge in insurance industry
Excellent communication, coaching and consultative skills
