Main Responsibilities :

  • To manage daily operations of Retail Customer Support in performing various back-office support to different business units / departments including but not limited to maintenance on customer information / accounts operations , cross-border customer account opening, e-Account opening, e-Cheque presentment, inward cheque clearing verification, returned outward cheque clearing, and etc. mainly for retail segment.
  • To ensure full compliance of P&Ps, BCP, internal and regulatory policies and requirements all the time.
  • Review and continuously fine-tune all existing procedure manuals, carry out operational risk self-assessment & evaluation to ensure proper control and regulatory requirements are in place
  • To ensure the agreed service levels, turnaround time, productivity, quality and internal / external relationships with stakeholders and customers are achieved.
  • To act as project key stakeholder to assist Business Project Manager in carrying out the project management activities in accordance with the Bank policies, covering business requirements definition, preparing / justifying business cases, managing UAT / project status and reporting, implementation planning & execution, post-implementation reviews, etc
  • To contribute or initiate practical suggestions and ideas, such as automation, process streamline, centralization and outsourcing, as to transform the operations with aim to achieve high efficiency, low cost and adequate risk control.
  • To build and maintain good relationship with business partners.
  • DisplayQualifications("-University degree of business management, Finance or related discipline.

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience at supervisory level within banking operations with emphasis on back-office processing.
  • Sound knowledge in areas of various Retail Banking Products and Fintech / Automation knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements on the relevant areas and internal operational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to drive change in relations to process re-engineering, innovative and self-motivated to support dynamic organizational improvement
  • Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good leadership and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of verbal and written in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. Requirements : -University degree of business management, Finance or related discipline.
