Your field of responsibility

The Securities Trade Management supports both Equity and Fixed income Cash Business. The team provides operational support to the business, including trade capture, desk support, client service and break resolution.

Apart from internal team members management (, Settlements, Compliance, IT and control teams), this role involves direct interaction with regional and global clients and acts as client’s primary contact for all operational related queries.

The candidate would also be responsible for maintaining individual client Management Information, and applying the data in order to identify process-improvements and cost / risk analysis for both the client and the firm.

The main duties of this function include but not limited to :

  • Responsible for accurate and timely trade booking and allocations
  • Responsible for accurate and timely confirmations via CTM, FIX, Email, Fax etc. for various APAC markets
  • Act as Single Point of Contact to handle queries from internal and external clients on trade allocation, confirmation, settlement and ad-hoc queries
  • Co-ordinate with cross-functional partners, , Settlements, Compliance and other control teams from a trade booking and settlement perspective
  • Responsible for remediating and raising any mismatches or settlement related issues
  • Responsible for improvement in execution to increase booking STP rate and reduce cancellation and corrections
  • Manage key projects related to new business offering, client initiatives, contract notes & control
  • Understand the front-to-back process flow and familiarize with the multiple systems used within the firm to be able to cope with daily issues
  • Demonstrate control acumen and act as a key line of defense by escalating and assuming full ownership of breaks, exceptions and red-flag items

    The Securities Trade Management Team leads all aspects of the whole front-to-bank booking process for the Equity and Fixed Income cash business.

    Your skills and experience

    We are looking for candidate who has :

    At least 5-6 years Cash Equity Operations experience

    Good working knowledge of global markets and an understanding of Front, Middle and Back Office organizational structure.

    A good understanding of cash equities is essential

    Good knowledge of trade booking and processing would be an advantage

    Proven experience of Front Office facing functions a plus

    Ability to multi-task, work to intra-day deadlines and work flexible hours dependent on trading volumes and requests from other areas, including Front Office and other partners

    A self-starter who can work independently with limited direct supervision

    The candidate should have good interpersonal and communication skills as well as a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
