POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional High Jewellery Events Assistant Manager is to assist the Regional High Jewellery Events Director with coordinating events amongst markets to achieve regional goals and to ensure that events are in synchrony with the brand’s image, key messages and vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Events planning and organization across Asia

  • Help to propose and contribute to event business strategies that meet regional goals and turnover;
  • Assist to :
  • assess and plan annual schedule of events for Markets across Region;
  • align Markets’ events calendars to reach regional targets;
  • define targeted clientele per event and their respective ROIs; and
  • achieve aims and goals for each event and deliver desirable outcomes.
  • Provide guidance to Markets to lay out and execute action plans according to annual schedule and targeted ROI and KPIs, and to help align best practice standards across Region.
  • Gather feedback, research and evaluate

  • Create feedback forms for post-event evaluation and gather feedbacks from participants, relevant parties and Markets
  • Evaluate feedback results of each event and produce analytical reports on qualitative and quantitative effectiveness of each event as per Market and region, areas for improvements and suggestions for future best practice.
  • Identify event synergies and assist to produce post-event reports and presentations
  • Conduct consistent research on competitors’ events across Region and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Event Coordination, Facilitation and Budget Planning

  • Ensure all elements and objectives of events are well-communicated, approved and delivered positively and smoothly in compliant with HQ’s best practices to achieve HQ’s goals and messages, strategic proposition across all phases of event preparation and execution
  • Provide assistance to help Markets reach regional and event goals by providing information on guidance, HQ standards, regional objectives and targeted turnover to Markets
  • Help to ensure adequate and sufficient share of resources amongst Markets during events period and fair, effective and efficient use of budget allocated for each event across the Region to reach regional goals
  • Coordinate the implementation of events to reach regional goals

  • Ensure that annual high jewellery events planning and operation in Asia are delivered using HQ’s events best practices and in adherence to the brand’s image
  • Ensure events are organized and executed according to schedule and in compliant with pre-event discussion outcomes
  • Provide assistance to ensure that stock display, windows and sales aids set up, logistics, security, client treatments, etc.
  • adhere to HQ’s insurance guidelines, logistic and security guidelines and other applicable guidelines during entirety of events

  • Check and ensure proper coordination of flows and operation between all sites and parties involved
  • Any additional work responsibilities related to events and events planning across Asia Region as may be assigned by the Regional High Jewellery Events Director
  • Education :

  • Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing
  • Experience :

  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in events planning and organization / commercial, retail in a multi-national corporation, preferably in the luxury sector
  • Specific competencies :

  • Solid commercial sensitivity with project management and events coordination experience
  • Strong ability to adapt to complex environment and communicate with various cultures
  • Excellent communication skills and able to work under pressure
  • Able to travel frequently
  • Languages :

  • English (mandatory)
  • Cantonese (required)
  • Mandarin (required)
  • French (if possible)
