Provide comprehensive infrastructure advices and implementation of infrastructure platform for initiatives according to TDA and other business priorities
Roles and Responsibilities :
Functional Duties
Provides Infrastructure technical advises and support to IT initiatives according to business priority
Leads the engineering team to implement the required Infrastructure networking technology
Analyses and identifies the Infrastructure Road Map including EOL technology and makes recommendation to management
Organize, plan, manage and monitor the activities in all project stages to ensure all requirements and milestones are met
Exercise responsibility for liaison with all parties in feasibility study, system specification, infrastructure design, hardware / software evaluation etc.
Evaluate new technologies / solutions to recommend optimal solution to management in alignment with corporate standards, meeting business requirements
Report and present recommendations to management for review and approval
Implement, design and deliver technical solutions in public and hybrid cloud environment
Manage activities and provide holistic support for responsible systems
Ensure compliance to IT Governance and Company Policies
Review and update technical documents such as system diagram, system installation manuals
Miscellaneous Tasks
Work closely with IT Transformation & Infrastructure Program Office, Architecture Team to ensure the design solution to be implemented from Infrastructure standpoint
Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager to meet operational or business requirements
Act as active driver on new IT technology to help business and operation
Monitor latest cloud related technology update
Assist management to plan and organize training programs for enhancing overall knowledge on business, applications and technical knowhow for team member
Minimum Job Requirements :
Education & Experience
Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or related discipline
At least 8 years of IT related experience in managerial position, preferably in insurance / financial industry
Specific Skills
Good technical skill in Infrastructure solution design, administration & support on Windows and Linux OSI / Microservices / database / public cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructure
Practical experience in networking, Active Directory, vendor and outsourcing, infrastructure projects, cloud admin and security
Understanding and experience in implementing services in Azure and / or AWS on Docker and Kubernetes, databases / RDS, Azure Resource Manager / Cloud Formation, etc.
Good project management and vendor management skills
Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Understanding of Agile, DevOps, CICD pipeline preferable
Certification of Solutions Architect for Azure or AWS is a surplus
Fluent English mandatory, Cantonese and Putonghua preferable
Good written and communication skills
