This is a key senior appointment and the appointee is expected to play a critical role in :
Developing the advancement intelligence function for the University to formulate strategic planning and operational deployment of the University’s advancement functions from branding, PR, fundraising to alumni relations;
Planning and implementing analytics and business intelligence strategies;
Developing and executing analytical projects designed to provide the intelligence needed to enhance the advancement functions;
Performing proactive research to ensure timely provision of critical knowledge and data that drive donor acquisition, retention and engagement, effective branding, alumni relations, and other outreach functions; and
Managing the research process, identifying and developing new tools and approaches for continuous enhancement, as well as working closely with other advancement units to define their research needs and the IT team to maintain the research database.
A good honours degree or above, preferably in Business / Data Analytics, Marketing / Operations Research or related analytical disciplines;
At least 12 years’ relevant working experience with a strong track record of accomplishments as a research analyst, data mining / data analyst, marketing / PR researcher, research strategist, or in other related positions;
Excellent analytical skills with an innovative and professional mindset, knowledge of research and analytical techniques / tools, outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills as well as a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
Ability to work effectively and independently as a leader and as a team member; and
Knowledge / experience of advancement functions (e.g. marketing, branding, PR, fundraising) in higher education would be an advantage.

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract;
